One of my favourite coffee table books at the moment is Fleur Wood's 'Fashion, Food, Friends'.  I love the mix of beautiful images, fabulous recipes and entertaining ideas.  The rhubarb and meringue cake pictured above is from the book and the stunning couture dress pictured below  is from Christian Dior.

Everything Old is New Again

I stumbled across this vintage image the other night and was struck by how similar the style (the beaded collar area) was to a beautiful gown I saw on the red carpet at last week's Golden Globes. This timeless style looks as modern now as it did 40 years ago.
